meet the team

Chiropractor
Matteo Panebianco, DC
Born and raised in the Bay Area, I have been in private practice here for over 2 decades and I specialize in the non-invasive treatment of bulging/herniated discs and sciatic-type symptoms. As a disc pain sufferer myself (I herniated discs in my lower back and neck), I know how debilitating these conditions can be as well as the impact they can have on one’s quality of life.
No one is more empathetic than me when it comes to knowing what patients with disc and sciatic problems are going through. This personal experience combined with the clinical experience of treating hundreds of patients over the many years I’ve been in practice really gives me a unique dual perspective on treating disc and sciatica patients- that of an experienced clinician and that of a patient looking for relief and a return to better quality of life.
I know it can be confusing and scary navigating through having to make decisions about spinal injections, surgeries, what treatment to do, etc. Peninsula Disc And Nerve Center exists for this very reason and our goal is to help you understand your condition better so that you can make the best decisions about treatment. I pride myself on being transparent on whether I feel I can help a patient or not. If I can help, then I lay out what the best treatment approach is based on the specifics of your case. I am equally honest if I feel that I’m unable to help you and even then, I’ll try to steer you in the right direction to other interventions that may be of benefit.
Watching my patients go through the transformation from being in severe pain to a better quality of life and returning to the things they love to do is one of the most fulfilling things that I get to experience in my practice. I combine cutting-edge treatments with old-fashioned care and concern that I think has become relatively absent in our modern-day healthcare system.
I look forward to meeting and partnering with you to achieve a better state of health and thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my practice.

Patient Coordinator
Tiffany Johnson
My name is Tiffany, and I’ve had the privilege of working at this clinic for over a decade. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to serve my community in a way that allows me to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the gratitude and smile on a patient’s face, it says it all.
I’m a firm believer in the body’s natural ability to heal itself through healthy living rather than dependence on medication. Being part of this team allows me to witness incredible healing journeys every day—both through our patients’ experiences and my own.
